Storm Sewer Pipe Restoration & Lining

Commercial building storm drains are designed to prevent flooding by directing excess water from various surfaces. They must be capable of handling large amounts of water flow such as those caused by serious storms.

Building owners and managers must ensure their properties are prepared for unexpected weather conditions like tropical storms and hurricanes. Florida commercial high-rise properties, in particular, should be protected as so many tenants expect and deserve a safe environment.

Seven out of 10 commercial buildings in the U.S. are aged 20 years or more. Problems with storm sewer pipes are mostly due to clogs or pipe overloads that happen when:

  • Dirt and waste build up inside the piping.
  • Pipes are cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged.
  • The ground is saturated.
  • Roots pile over grates.

Also, if the building is on a slope, the soil can erode and create additional structural problems.

Commercial building owners and managers looking to proactively address aging or defective storm sewer piping can find a solution in storm sewer pipe restoration and lining

US Pipelining is the country’s most trusted storm sewer pipe restoration and lining company. Our storm sewer pipe restoration and lining services for Florida commercial high-rise projects and other commercial structures completely repair and restore storm sewer pipes from the inside out.

The Advantages of Storm Sewer Pipe Restoration & Lining

US Pipelining’s storm sewer pipe restoration and lining process uses a simple yet state-of-the-art technique to structurally rehabilitate culverts and storm sewers.

Our non-invasive, restorative cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology installs a jointless, seamless pipe-within-a-pipe that can negotiate 45 to 90 degree bends and be used to restore pipes ranging from 4 to 120 inches in diameter.

This innovative restoration system offers a range of benefits:

  • Structural integrity of weakened or failed storm sewer pipes and culverts is restored. The product has a 50 to 100 year lifespan and is tested to ASTM F1216 standards.
  • Increased flow capacity made possible by the least cross-sectional reduction method available to rehabilitate pipes. The smooth interior provides excellent abrasion resistance and there are no joints that can separate over time.
  • Reduced infiltration/exfiltration and erosion from system leaks.
  • Affordability. CIPP is typically less expensive than conventional storm sewer repair and replacement methods, especially when you consider the traffic congestion, decreased productivity, and lost business revenue that comes with the disruption and costs of traditional dig and replace methods.

  • Installation flexibility. Our CIPP system offers installation and cure process flexibility. The system can be drawn into place or inverted with either water or air and the cure can be accomplished with hot water or steam. All materials are manufactured to meet ISO-certified quality control programs and all processes follow nationally-recognized standards.

US Pipelining’s storm sewer pipe restoration and lining process is considered equivalent to replacing the existing infrastructure with new piping, but without the associated inconveniences.
